Megan Deitchler has twenty years of professional experience in international nutrition research, program monitoring and evaluation, and project management. She currently leads the strategic direction and overall management of Intake. For the 15 years prior to leading the start-up of Intake, Megan worked on the Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance (FANTA) project, where she provided specialized technical assistance to international nutrition and food security programs; oversaw the development, validation, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools and methods; and managed a diverse portfolio of research activities as the Deputy Director for Global Leadership. Prior to working on the FANTA project, she worked on a set of research activities aimed at documenting the impact of national micronutrient supplementation and fortification programs. She has a PhD in Public Health from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University.
